PARTICIPATION REGULATIONS IN PREVENTION & INTERVENTION – WHERE PREVENTIVE CARDIOLOGY MEETS INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY

§1

Dictionary of definitions

For the purposes of these regulations, the following meanings are established:

  1. Event – of a scientific, training, social, educational, didactic, workshop or journalistic nature, organized as part of the business activity conducted by CONVENTION PLUS SP. Z O.O. independently or as a co-organizer on the basis of concluded contracts or agreements, regardless of its name. Events are closed – they are intended for a specific group of registered participants. Open or mass events are organized according to the rules contained in separate regulations.
  2. Participation in the event – paid or unpaid opportunity to participate in the scientific and training, didactic, workshop, educational, journalistic part, etc.
  3. Event participant – a person who registered, paid the fee and confirmed his/her presence at the registration point during the event.
  4. Conference package – a package of benefits for the event participant.
  5. Event participation agreement – an agreement concluded with a participant for participation in the event and use of the conference package, of which these regulations are an integral part.
  6. VIP Participant – an event participant with VIP status based on a special invitation from CONVENTION PLUS SP. Z O.O.
  7. Limited access – limited access to exhibition areas during the event. This applies in particular to access to exhibitions of pharmaceutical or medical equipment companies.
  8. Organizer – for the purposes of these regulations – CONVENTION PLUS SP. Z O.O. regardless of whether it is an independent organizer of the event or acts as a co-organizer on the basis of concluded contracts or agreements.
  9. Current information about the event – the Organizer informs that all current data regarding the organized event are available on the website https://prev-interv.com/ or by phone: +48 660 554 986
  10. Legal provisions – provisions generally applicable in the Republic of Poland, including provisions of agreements, conventions and contracts to which it is a signatory.

  

§2 

Rules of participation in the Event

The conditions for participation in the Event (concluding the Participation Agreement) are:
a) registration of participation in the Event,
b) payment of the fee1 in the amount and on the date specified by the Organizer,
c) confirmation of your participation at the Event reception.

  

§3

Educational plan

  1. The participants of the Conference are cardiologists, diabetologists, internists, nurses, physiotherapists, students of medical sciences, persons authorized to issue prescriptions or persons trading in medicinal products, and other persons professionally related to the subject of the conference and representatives of sponsors.
  2. The aim of education is to improve qualifications in the field of knowledge in the field of preventive and interventional cardiology.
  3. The object of education is to ensure its high quality through:
    a) Inviting outstanding specialists and preparing a comprehensive program.
    b) Education and presentation of current achievements and recommendations regarding the health of each gender in the field of hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, heart failure from preventive actions through coronary interventions, structural and invasive treatment of pulmonary embolism and cardiac arrhythmias.
    c) discussion and searching for the best solutions for patients and the best directions of development for our specialties.
  4. The Conference will include scientific, didactic and educational sessions and an exhibition of pharmaceutical companies.

 

§4

  1. A person interested in participating in the Event may register via:
    a. registration on the Online Registration Service at: https://prev-interv.com/registration/
  2. The condition for registration is to complete the mandatory data and accept these regulations.
  3. The Organizer is not liable for any damage caused by providing incorrect or false data by the Participant. In particular, the Participant cannot claim that he was not properly notified about changes in the Event if the data provided in the registration form made it impossible to contact him.3
  4. The Organizer has the right to refuse to accept registration sent by fax or e-mail if the necessary data listed in footnotes 2 and 3 are missing or illegible. The organizer is not obliged to contact the person registering participation in order to complete the data4.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to close registration for the Event at any time without giving a reason.

 

§5

Paying participation fees

  1. The Organizer accepts payments from registered Participants in the form of:
    a) bank transfer,
  2. The Event Participant is obliged to include in the transfer title data enabling his/her identification and the identification of the Event.5
  3. The Organizer is not liable if the transfer description does not enable the identification of the Participant or the Event.
  4. The Event Participant is obliged to have proof of payment of the participation fee and, in case of doubt, show it at the Event reception.
  5. The Organizer has the right to refuse entry to the Event to a person presenting proof of payment in relation to which there are reservations specified in points 2 and 3.
  6. If the participation fee is paid on-site, before or during the Event, the Organizer does not guarantee the Participant a full conference package. The participant acknowledges that he is not entitled to any rebate or discount on the participation fee in this respect.
  7. After the Participant has paid the fee, the Event Organizer will issue a VAT invoice or a fiscal receipt within 7 days from the date of receipt of the money into the Organizer’s account3.
  8. As part of the fee paid, the Participant is entitled to a conference package. Information about the scope of the conference package is available in the current event information.
  9. The Organizer reserves the right to change the scope of the conference package and make changes to the Event plan.
  10. If the situation specified in point 9 occurs, the Organizer contacts the Participants and may propose:
    a) surcharge,
    b) discount on the participation fee.
  11. Unless the Participant objects to the additional payment/discount, it is deemed to be tantamount to acceptance of the new conditions of participation in the Event. If the Participant expresses an objection, the Organizer will return the funds received from the Participant by bank transfer or postal order within 15 days from the date of the Event to which the Participant’s payment related, and the Participation Agreement is terminated when the Organizer receives information about the objection.
  12. If the benefit to the Participant is related to the order in which the participation fees are paid, the date of receipt of the funds to the Organizer’s account is decisive. Fees received after the specified date despite being posted earlier are considered late payments.

  

§6

Information materials, method of communication

  1. All printed materials, including posters, leaflets and e-mails regarding the Event, as well as other forms of contact, are for information purposes only – the information contained therein may change and does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.

§7

Changes within the Event

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Event. In particular, changes may concern:
    a) conference venues,
    b) duration,
    c) conference package,
    d) the substantive plan of the Event.
  2. If the circumstances specified in point 1 occur, the Organizer will inform the registered Participants about it, subject to §4.
  3. Information about changes will be made by:
    a) sending information by e-mail or
    b) by SMS, or
    c) telephone notification to the addresses and telephone numbers provided by the Participant during registration,
    d) posting appropriate information on the Event website.
  4. The Organizer does not cover any lost profits or costs incurred by the Participant in connection with the changes described above.

 

§8

Event Cancellation

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Event at any time without giving a reason.
  2. If the circumstances specified in point 1 occur, the Organizer will inform the registered Participants.
  3. Information about changes will be made by:
    a) sending information by e-mail or
    b) by SMS, or
    c) telephone notification to the addresses and telephone numbers provided by the Participant during registration,
    d) posting such information on the Event website.
  4. The Organizer does not cover any lost profits or costs incurred by the Participant in connection with the changes described above.
  5. The Organizer will refund the participation fees paid to the Participants within 30 days from the date of the decision to cancel the conference.

 

§9

Resignation from participation in the Event

  1. The Participant may resign from participating in the Event.
  2. The Participant’s resignation from participation in the Event must be made in writing (post, e-mail).

 

§10

Organizational rules during the Event

  1. The following rules apply to the behaviour of Participants during the Event, including paid accompanying events not included in the conference package.
  2. While participating in the Event, the Participant is obliged to:
    a) follow the order instructions of the Organizer’s staff,
    b) follow the instructions of the security services securing the Event,
    c) compliance with fire safety regulations in force at the location of the Event and accompanying events
    d) comply with the ban on bringing alcohol into the Event area,
    e) smoking tobacco only in designated and appropriately marked places,
    f) comply with the ban on participating in the Event under the influence of intoxicating substances or drugs,
    g) behave in a manner consistent with the principles of social coexistence, in a way that does not impede other people’s participation in the Event and place of accommodation,
    h) comply with the total ban on recording the content of the conference in any form and by any means, unless he has received the appropriate written consent of the Organizer,
    i) comply with the copyrights of lecturers,
    j) have and wear an ID badge in a visible place during the Event.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to remove from the Event Participants who violate the rules of conduct specified in point 2.
  4. A participant removed from the Event in accordance with point 3 loses the right to continue participation in the Event without compensation, and the fee paid is non-refundable.
  5. Participants bear full financial responsibility for any damage they cause, both on the premises where any activities related to the Event are carried out, as well as in places of accommodation.
  6. Participants are responsible for full payment for hotel parking lots and parking spaces in front of the Event venues.
  7. The Organizer is not responsible for Participants’ items that are lost, destroyed, left behind or stolen during the Event.
  8. The organizer also reserves the right to:
    a) removing Participants who do not have IDs from the Event,
    b) separating an area with limited access for a specific group of Participants during the Event,
    c) not to issue lost coupons entitling to social benefits as part of the conference package.
  9. Each Participant is obliged to immediately notify the Organizer’s employees about situations that may pose a threat to the life or health of other Participants.
  10. Participant present at the Event is entitled to a certificate of participation. They are issued after the end of the Event, via e-mail. The Organizer is not obliged to send certificates by post after the Event.
  11. Participants may be issued with certificates of receiving educational points or other professional qualifications granted on the basis of separate regulations.

 

§11

Promotions

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to conduct limited-time promotional campaigns for the Event.
  2. Promotional campaigns may consist in particular in the use of discounts, rebates, participation in additional events or payments for limited access to the event, competitions, etc.
  3. Participants who have registered and paid the participation fee before the promotional campaign cannot demand a refund of all or part of the participation fees paid due to the promotional campaign conducted by the Organizer.
  4. If participation in the promotion is limited by the order of applications and payment of the participation fee, the date of receipt of the fee to the Organizer’s account is decisive.
  5. The Organizer may freely assign and define the VIP Participant status to Participants.

 

§12 

Complaints

  1. Any objections of the Event Participants towards the Organizer should be reported in writing, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, to the address of the Organizer’s registered office no later than 7 days from the end of the Conference. After this deadline, complaints will not be considered.
  2. The complaint is considered within 30 days from the date of receipt.
  3. The participant will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of the complaint in writing, to the address provided in the registration application.

 

§13

Final Provisions

  1. Any disputes that may arise from participation in the Conference will be resolved by the court competent for the registered office of the Organizer.
  2. In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
  3. The personal data provided by the Participant are collected and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997 (Journal of Laws 133 of October 29, 1997, item 833). The database administrator is CONVENTION PLUS SP. Z O.O. with registered office: 02-593 Warsaw, Biały Kamień 2/40.
  4. The participant has the right to access and delete the personal data provided. The Participant declares his/her will by registered letter sent to the Organizer’s address.
  5. Events organized on the basis of these regulations are closed and do not constitute mass events within the meaning of the Act of March 23, 2009 on the safety of mass events (Journal of Laws of 2009, No. 62, item 504), unless this is clearly stated in the offer. commercial and is confirmed in writing in the offer.
  6. All correspondence with the Participant under the implementation of this contract will be sent to the address/contact details provided in the registration application.
  7. The participant is obliged to update his contact details on a regular basis, otherwise he will lose his claim.
  8. The Organizer is not responsible for the impossibility of delivering correspondence to the Participant due to incorrect/incomplete contact details.
  9. It is presumed that a letter sent to the last address of the Participant known to the Organizer is effectively delivered after 14 days from the date of posting.
  10. Failure by the Participant to comply with the form of correspondence results in its invalidity towards the Organizer.
