Abstract Submission Guidelines for the Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026

Submission Platform

Submissions are accepted via email: abstract@prev-interv.com There is no charge for submitting an abstract.

Presentation Commitment

Submitting an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author(s) to present their work in person at the specified event location if accepted.

Changes and Corrections Post-Submission

Once submitted, no changes can be made to the abstract content. To make corrections, you must withdraw your abstract and resubmit the corrected version before the deadline. After the deadline, corrections are only permissible during the presentation, not in the published materials.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

To withdraw an abstract, please email abstract@prev-interv.com with the title of the abstract. Withdrawals are accepted even after the submission deadline.

Abstract Content Requirements

  • Title: Should not exceed 200 characters, typed in lower-case letters, except for abbreviations and study names.
  • Author and Institution Information: A complete list of authors and their institutions must be provided. Post-submission changes are not permitted.
  • Content Format: Abstracts should be organized with the following sections: Background/Introduction, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. The abstract text, including spaces, must not exceed 3,000 characters or 35 lines.

Review and Selection Process

  • Abstracts will undergo a blinded review by a committee. Final selection will be based on the scientific merit, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field.
  • Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent by 5th of September.

Presentation Formats

  • Accepted abstracts may be presented in oral sessions or as moderated ePosters.
  • Each presenter is restricted to a maximum of three presentations.

General Policies

  • All submissions must be original and not previously published or presented.
  • The presentation language is English.
  • All expenses related to participation are the responsibility of the presenter.

Faculty Status and Support

All presenters selected to participate in the Abstract Session will be recognized as Faculty Members of the Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026.

Faculty benefits will include:

  • Complimentary congress registration;
  • Travel support;
  • Accommodation during the meeting.

Specific travel and accommodation arrangements will be coordinated by the organizers in accordance with the meeting policies and applicable regulations.
