Abstract Submission Guidelines for the Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026

Submissions are accepted via email: abstract@prev-interv.com
There is no fee for submitting an abstract.

Presentation Commitment

Submitting an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author(s) to present their work in person at the specified event location if accepted.

Changes and Corrections Post-Submission

Once submitted, no changes can be made to the abstract content. To make corrections, you must withdraw your abstract and resubmit the corrected version before the deadline. After the deadline, corrections are only permissible during the presentation, not in the published materials.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

To withdraw an abstract, please email abstract@prev-interv.com with the title of the abstract. Withdrawals are accepted even after the submission deadline.

Abstract Content Requirements

  • Title: Should not exceed 200 characters, typed in lower-case letters, except for abbreviations and study names.
  • Author and Institution Information: A complete list of authors and their institutions must be provided. Post-submission changes are not permitted.
  • Content Format: Abstracts should be organized with the following sections: Background/Introduction, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. The abstract text, including spaces, must not exceed 3,000 characters or 35 lines.

Review and Selection Process

Abstracts will undergo a blinded review by a committee. Final selection will be based on the scientific merit, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field.

Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent by 5th of September.

Presentation Formats

Accepted abstracts may be presented in oral sessions or as moderated ePosters.

Each presenter is restricted to a maximum of three presentations.

Publication of Accepted Abstracts

All accepted abstracts will be published in the official Abstract Book of the “Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026”.

By submitting an abstract, the authors agree to its publication in the Abstract Book and other official materials related to the Summit.

General Policies

All submitted work must be original and must not have been previously published or presented.

The official presentation language is English.

Unless Faculty Status is granted in accordance with the provisions below, all expenses related to participation in the Summit are the responsibility of the presenter.

Faculty Status and Support

Faculty Status will be granted exclusively to the presenters of the first 10 abstracts accepted for presentation by the Scientific Committee.

These presenters will be recognized as Faculty Members of the “Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026”.

Faculty benefits will include:

  • complimentary congress registration;
  • travel support for presenters based outside Poland;
  • accommodation during the meeting.

Specific travel and accommodation arrangements will be coordinated by the organizers in accordance with the meeting policies and applicable regulations.

Presenters of other accepted abstracts will not automatically be granted Faculty Status or the related travel and accommodation benefits.
