Rules for Awarding Educational Grants for “Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026”
The Travel & Educational Grants Program is designed to support young cardiologists, fellows, and other medical professionals from the Central and Eastern European region who wish to participate in the Prevention & Intervention – Central European Summit 2026.
1. Scope of the Grant
Each educational grant may include:
- waiver of the conference registration fee;
- two-night accommodation in a twin room;
- full catering package during the conference;
- reimbursement of travel expenses for participants from outside Poland.
2. Travel Reimbursement Conditions
Reimbursement of travel expenses is available only to participants from outside Poland and is subject to the predefined limit of EUR 500.
Travel reimbursement is conditional upon the participant’s actual attendance at the conference. For the purposes of this provision, attendance means reporting in person at the conference registration desk and collecting the participant badge.
Failure to meet this condition will result in the loss of the right to reimbursement of travel expenses.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed only upon presentation of the required documents confirming the incurred costs, in accordance with the instructions provided by the Organizer.
3. Accommodation Rules
Accommodation is provided in a twin room. Participants sharing a room will be assigned according to the following rules:
- the roommate will be of the same gender; or
- the roommate will be a person indicated by the participant in the registration/application form.
The Organizer reserves the right to assign roommates based on availability and organizational requirements.
4. Eligibility
The grant is intended exclusively for medical professionals and individuals involved in medical education or training, including in particular:
- physicians;
- cardiologists and cardiology fellows;
- nurses;
- physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists;
- representatives of related medical professions;
- students of medical fields.
Priority may be given to young cardiologists, fellows, and participants from the Central and Eastern European region.
5. Number of Grants
The number of grants is limited.
Grants will be awarded based on the order of applications received, provided that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria and the application is complete.
6. Application Procedure
Applicants interested in receiving a grant are requested to submit their application by e-mail, including the following information:
- first name and surname;
- country of residence;
- place of work or study;
- medical specialty or field of study;
- current position or professional status;
- information whether travel reimbursement is requested;
- estimated travel costs, if applicable.

7. Organizational Changes
The Organizer reserves the right to introduce organizational changes to the grant program, including changes related to accommodation, catering, travel reimbursement, or the number of available grants, if such changes result from circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control.
8. Final Provisions
Submission of an application does not guarantee that a grant will be awarded.
The Organizer’s decision regarding the awarding of grants is final.
